WFH Tips: Creating a Home and Work Mindset

 

I am Anjan Kumar Jana doing work from home from 17th August, 2020 till today. I am very much enjoying this beautiful facility arranged by my office. I got a nice HD desktop for my current project. Also I have taken a broadband connection for this and got reimbursement. I am so happy that iMerit executed this huge facility with proper planning and given us an opportunity to fulfill it.

I tried to manage it with the following tips: 

               • I have created my own space at home with a table and a chair. 

               • I do daily exercise in the morning and in the evening for at least 30 minutes. More specifically                   before office hours and after office hours, which help to keep the body energetic. 

              • I start my work as per office hours and take timely breaks. I tried to keep coordination in our                      team just like lunch break, team meeting etc. at the same time. This helps me to keep engage in                  the team while I am working separately at home. 

              • I tried to avoid home discussion during office hours and discuss all the kinds of stuff after                            office hours. 

This helps me to create a mindset to focus either on the office or on the home discussion. As we all know working from home is a dream for someone but this lockdown has taught us that it directly affects us mentally and physically. It becomes very easy now from initial days. Thanks to iMerit.
